Contact Bridge

A Mac app that keeps Google Contacts in sync with iCloud Contacts.

Contact Bridge runs on your Mac and treats your iCloud contacts as the source of truth. It copies new and changed contacts to your Google account, and shows you a review list whenever the two sides disagree, so nothing is overwritten without your say.

What it does

• Syncs names, phone numbers, email addresses, addresses and notes from iCloud to Google Contacts.
• Shows a preview before the first sync, and pauses for confirmation before large changes.
• Takes a backup of your contacts before it makes changes, and keeps a log of every change it makes in Google.
• Finds duplicate contacts and helps you merge or clean them up.

How it uses your Google account

When you sign in with Google, Contact Bridge asks for permission to read and edit your Google Contacts, and to see your email address so it can show which account is connected. The app talks directly to Google from your Mac. There is no Contact Bridge server, and your contacts are never sent anywhere else.
